Building on an analysis of different AI frameworks, FACE your cover explores various artistic and activist strategies that can be used to subvert or adapt the gaze of the technical eye. The aim of the episode is to draw attention to visibilities and invisibilities for tech through a subversive gaze, and to use makeup to make one’s identity unrecognizable to surveillance systems.
